MOST OF THE SOUTH IS MUCH MORE LIENIANT ON THIS. NORTH HAS STRICT LAWS BUT I HAVE NOT HAD FRON FLARES FOR OVER 2 YEARS. NO WORRIES.

I dont think most cops would notice. Unless your just going down the road slinging all kinds of crap into peoples windshields I dont think you will ever be bothered.

thanks for the replies, I have seen one or two with no flares here in ringgold so I think it'll be alright, krawler if you've got any pics of yours with no flares just on flat ground would mind posting em up?

I havent had fenders for a long time.  They dont care in the south.  I pave been pulled over for other things and never said anthing about my fenders.  Most of my tire sticks out past the body.

Sorry for the late reply. Just got back a few hours ago from cali. Rotation every 3-5,000 and here is the best pic I have here.

I  need to find some steel so I can get started on the tube fenders. Only problem is no one wants to give it away.... Due to gas prices of course.

Yeah, I knicked my front fender on upper 2 at Tellico. Not bad, but it dented it up a bit. Now I really want tube fenders. I may just start saving for the spiders.

thanks for posting the pics, did you trim off the bolt holes or paint the area black?
