Zj 231 work in tj?

I would think thay would but just making sure.  I am buying one with a curry super short sye for $200

Hey Alex, I thought TJ's came with a 231 w/ 23 spline input. At least my 2000 Auto did.  Check Jeep Forum TJ specifiactions for a wealth of info.

Yea, what year ZJ?

The 231 was only used in ZJs up until early 95. There was a spline cut change somewhere around 94.5 so that would be the biggest concern.

But if the 231 is from a later ZJ or one with a V8, it was swapped in and you might be fine.
