looking for 4.0

i have just bought a 89 xj 4x4 with 4.0 auto i need a motor any ideas where i might find one i just want something  to put in it so i can drive it for a while  because i am going to rebuild the motor thats in it now but i need it on the road alot sooner than that any help would be great  ;D thanks

Just enter jeep engine or Jeep 4.0 engine. You will find one fast!

I've got 2 HO motors on the floor of the shop. They are missing stuff but you'll have to swap all your renix stuff over anyhow. $250 for one. I dont have any idea of the mileage but neither smoked or knocked. Leave michelle a message on the shop phone 706-374-3547

im new to the whole jeep thing ive built sevral 10 sec mustangs never a jeep i was looking at rebulid kits for 4.0 and i was just wondering what the diff was in like 89 and 95 4.0  :hlp

The fuel injection is different I think and the front brackets(a/c alt power steering) may be different. Somebody may need to correct me.

I know the "00 4.0 motors went distributor less. All I know.
