I am back. Had an awesome trip and the ride was almost perfect other than Dougs issues. Dang! I had an awesome time spottin you guys too! I love to help but I never get any pics of me doin anything when I lead! :( Oh well! It was great to meet Mike and Clyde! Another great addition to GATR! The weather was perfect and the scenery was awesome! I think in another 2 weeks tops, the leaves will be peak up there. I tell you the bus has changed again. I have NEVER had to work the second set of ledges but this time I had to work it a bit harder. It changes all the time. Can't wait till the 7th to see everyone out again! I will get my picks up soon and post the link. Awesome trip guys! Doug, what is the status??? Do you have a new dog too? ;D

Yep needs a JK or 2...

Hey Rock, how do you like that winch? I had one on my old JK and it never failed me.

Hey Jeremy,  The winch has always done a great job.  I have used it about 3 times around home in the mud and I used it once at Beasly in Blairsville.  The only issue I have ever had is that it is sometimes hard to free spool.  I removed to cover and greased the gears really good.  I ocassionally unspool by hooking to a tree and freeing everything up.  Other than that it is plenty strong.  I hope it gets better with age and use...

Thanks.

Rock

Hey who's in the tan Rubi? Is that Rockinwrangler's dad?

Hey Will,

Dad does pretty good for being 70 yrs old.  He has definitely taught me alot about wheeling over the years..

Hope to meet you some someday in person also..

Mike

That is a definite Ben,  he always tells me it is better to winch that to brake something..  Sometimes pride can cost.

By the way,  when did you say the next trip to telico was,  Dad is interested.  Also,  don't forget to pick up my plastic step up on 12.   I plan on ordering the rockers tomorrow...  I am thinking about A-z's or rock hard's like dad's..

thanks again,

Mike...
