Pics of my new rig
« on: October 30, 2008, 03:32:28 PM »
Finally got around to taking some pictures of my new rig at lunch today.  Along with almost every factory option, it also has the bling package  ::)

A leveling kit, and Rocky Road rock sliders are on order.  I am going tonight to pick up a set of 315/75R16 Yokohama Geolander MTs that I found on Craigslist for $650.  They have been mounted but never driven on.  The last thing I want to get before I take it wheeling is a set of updated tie rods.  They redesigned them to be thicker on the 07 models.  They stock 06 tie rods are knows to be pretty weak and I don't want to risk it with the 35s on there.

Anyone need some 33" Bridgestone Dueler ATs (285/75R16)?  I will post them up soon.

Dude, where do you work.  That looks like the corner of Lavista and Northlake Parkway.  I work for Allied Automotive back on Parklake.  Oh yeah, nice looking rig.  I've always liked the H3's.

I work in the Crescent center bldg which is right off North lake just south of Lavista.  We should meet up for lunch or something.

Yeah I had thought I should probably take those mud flaps off for wheelin'.  I guess H3s throw rocks up at the rear fenders pretty bad.  I may put them back on when done.

looking at the room those mud flaps might not fit well with 35's on there. Guess one way to find out!

I can't either!  I picked up the 35s last night.  They look huge!

I think it rides better than my jeep did, with the lift on there anyway.  I love it so far.  It should be ready to go in a week or two.
