Christmas presents for the jeep
« on: November 25, 2008, 02:17:34 PM »
with christmas coming up and having a (for the most part) bone stock tj what are some things I should ask for? I'm not looking for a 5"LA lift or anything...dont think anyone loves me that much. what would be some good upgrades that are reasonably priced (<$200) that I can ask santa to bring me this year?

I love my Staun deflators/$40 or less.
Any armor.  Fuel skid, oil skid, tranny skid, sliders.

He's already got deflators. How about sliders Kyle? That trim pops off all the time anyway.

If it was my jeep i would

Rockers  Can be bought for around $200
2in BB around 40 for pucks and shocks can be bought for under 100 for all 4
Lockright locker around $250

Your jeep will be alot more capable with those things

Only thing I would change on that list is the word "Lockright" to "Aussie"!

yeah...i hate that trim. i took it off when i first got the jeep but theres a strip that the trim clips into rivited to the body and that looks worse than the trim...so they stay until i get sliders.

So far on the list I have :
Aussie Locker
AtoZ rock sliders
EMP gas tank skid
EMP steering box skid
Rokmen crusher corners
Smittybuilt XRC8 winch
lube-lockers
SS brake lines
AA T-case shift relocation

can anyone recomend a good engine/trans skid?

I would put an Aussie near the top of that list Kyle. All that fancy armor can't protect you from anything if you can't get to it :P
