Little Buffalo 11-28-08
« on: November 26, 2008, 05:23:33 PM »
I am going to ride Little Buffalo Friday 11-28. Little Buffalo is located outside of Robbinsville NC. There are some difficult obstacles. There will be five other vehicles with me. I will be leaving Ellijay at 5:30 am. Hopefully we will be back around 6:30 pm. Everyone welcome.

I talked to a guy from the telephone company a few months ago about jeeps and what not, and he went on and on about this place, but he kept saying he used to be able to go through it in a stock jeep because he knew it so well (it was basically his backyard)...I couldn't believe it was as great as he kept saying it was cause I had never heard of it..

Sounds like a possible road trip/camp gig! Let us know how it turns out!

Looked a round for some info, found some photos, but no directions to the trail head.  Got the general area, but no specifics.

I will let you know as soon as I get back. This will be my first time up there. The people I'm going with are up there every other weekend. I have known about this place for years and always heard that it has some very difficult trails.

I smell an outing for sure with rocks like that!
I've grown tired of this.

The trails were not as bad as I thought they were going to be. I did not get many action shots. Here are a few pictures of the vehicles I was with. Great place.

My friend Travis built the buggy, but I dont remember the owners name. They said they did all the work and still spent $28000.
