Snow Flurries already?
« on: December 01, 2008, 12:56:12 PM »
I have been saying it is going to be cold winter… already got a snow flurry here just north of Atlanta (where 75 and 285 meet). It has been coming down pretty steady for 10 minutes or so…. Nothing sticking of coarse but still… pretty early for it here.

Yepper. Good packing snow. Flurries all day. Its should be icey tomorrow morning.  Kids got the day off from school. Had about 2-3" on the vw...for some reason it seemed to have attracted the most snow. Other cars only had 1.5" or so.
I hope I get to trail ride this year.

Lots of snow up in Knoxville. Barely stuck and didn't snow for more then 30 or so minutes, but tons of it.

That reminds me, a few years ago before I had a Jeep I was down in St. Augustine taking advantage of what little surf they have on the east coast,  and there were two guys posted up with two decently modded TJs just chillin on the beach at the entrance to the beach drive. I didn't know what they were doing until I saw a shiny, jacked-up F350 on probably 38s and 22s get bogged down in the sand. They were waiting for people to get stuck and were winching them out. They were probably charging, but I didn't investigate. it was definitely funny watching those pricks get stuck though.
