Trade Rigs?
« on: December 28, 2008, 09:51:44 PM »
Well, I know my vehicular ADD would get to me eventually. I've gotten the itch to trade my Jeep for something new. So if you or someone you know might be interested in trading rigs, let me know. I'm looking for something a little more trail oriented than my XJ. Let me know!

Frames are for sissies! Just now that I have a truck to DD, I got the itch for something that is more for the trails only. Probably another XJ. A zuk or something would be cool though! Trying to avoid a Wrangler...everybody has one.

You have a good start on yours, go full width, more cutting, do thode rockers, exo it... the options are endless.

I'd love to do an axle swap. Beth and I are looking at renting a house when the lease is up on our apartment. A swap might be feasible if we did that, but now its out of the question, lol.

Jimmy just keep it, build it as you go, wheel it as you go.  Your jeep is very capable in its form.  You got a dd so you dont have to worry about body damage anymore  {nln}

I like that idea. nothing says "trail oriented" like a full exo cage... When you gonna put the lincoln in the 8.8?

I think a stock throttle body, lol. All my Mustang stuff is gone. I have a primed body on tires that are going flat and thats about it. Oh, I think I have some v8 fox body shocks too.

Kyle, I hope to weld the 8.25 rear soon. Not sure if it'll get done before MM though.

Alex, I wasn't too concerned with body damage to begin with :P I definitely won't ever be doing a full exco cage though. I think they look like someone accidently drove through a playground on the way to soccer practice.  ;D
