Question about new car and sales tax

We just bought a new jeep grand Cherokee tonight.  I relize that we have to pay sales tax in SC but do we have to pay Vehical property taxes again?  I know we get our tag trnsferred to the new car

No, you won't have to pay for it until next year.

Generally they tell you when you buy it.. Tax, Tag, and Title.
