How long is the drive from Augusta?

Its right down the road. Off of exit 154 on I-20.
I agree with Jimmy on both accounts.

I'm going to give you our camera also. No reason not to have some pictures.

I know this is late notice but I am totally confused on how to get to this place.
 I use my GPS and Google and it tells me to take I 16W to Route 1 North to I 20w.
 But their website tells everyone not to follow online directions and use the ones they list instead.

Problem is, my GPS and google's route say about 3 hours 45 minutes, going the way listed on Durhamtowns website is close to 6 hours!  {ehm}

Can someone who is familiar with this place please post up as to which way we should come from Savannah? Thanks.

I remember what happened the last time you used a GPS to get to an offroad park  :hlp   ;D

Take 16 up to exit 71 and follow Hwy 15 all the way to Union Point. When you leave it's just as easy to get back, follow Hwy 15 all the way back to I16

Me too, it led us all to a prison and a huge river we couldn't cross! lol  :hlp

Guy's, this trip fell through late last night when we couldn't get decent directions. I wasn't going to follow GPS directions or mapquest because they said not to, and their directions put us on Hwy 15 N that is a two lane road or whatever and the travel time jumped from 3 3/4 hours to almost 6 hours. WTF over?  {ehm}

We will figure it out for next time, hope everyone has a good time.  {toast}

I just noticed it says Hilton Head under your name, if that's where you are coming from neither of those directions are right. You could have followed Hwy 278 to 125 to Augusta and jumped on I520 to I20

Just got back......it was pretty boring. I think the general consensus was this was our first and last trip there until they do some serious work. The place looks like the mecca of awesomeness for ATV and dirt bike riders, but the 4x4 trails were just not happenin. The only carnage I think was Mark ripping his steering box off the frame when we tried to knock over a "rotten" stump.

This place blows.  I did like 90% of this place in 2WD.  It was basically forest trails... with random "one-way" trails that just went off and looped back.  I think of all the trails we went on, we did 80% of them backwards, meaning not the "one-way" direction.  Not unless I really just want to drive 2 hours and ride forest trails will I ever go back there.  So those of you who bailed or didn't show up, it was probably for the best.  It saved you gas money and $20 for the fee.  Oh well... live and learn.
