Small Truck

I am looking for a small truck that runs good. Possibly a little mazda,  isuzu, toyota, jeep etc

Under 2k if possible or trade for 1997 Mazda Protege

A guy down the road from me has a 89 comanchee stock w/ 6 cyl 5 speed and a sunroof. Not pretty but solid. Interior was good I think. Been sitting for 2 years. Says it cranks and runs. Needs the plastic pressure tank and some heater hose for the ride home. Claims the motor was rebuilt a short time before they parked it.

$900 is what I already negotiated him down to so thats probably the deal. He wanted $1500 for it.

I think there are a few MJ's at the PAP in Augusta. Could make it a 4x4 in a day.

true...but for $900 it wouldnt be worth it...youd spend that much for the 4x4 tranny, t-case, axle and ds's.
