Flying is awesome!  I hadn't flown until a couple of years ago, the take-off and landing are my favorite parts.  Those jets are quick.  But the flying itself, "cruising" I think they put it, is boring!!

Leaving the South is tough, I know. But there is one thing that you can do to not only make it feel somewhat like home but to make yourself feel better: Introduce a Yankee to Sweet Tea. I know a guy from either Wyoming or Colorado that still owes me for that.

One time I was doing a job in Idaho and had forgotten that sweet tea was a Southern thing, so I was at this bar-b-que place and ordered sweet tea as my drink and they told me they didn't have it... idiots... they have no idea what they're missing!
