Gone soft...
« on: June 24, 2009, 08:25:12 PM »
For the summer! Found a great deal on a soft top, full frame and hardware bestop supertop on craigslist. Originaly he had it listed for $300. Kept watching and he dropped to $250. I called and asked if he would take $200 and SOLD! These retail for over $700 new! It was spice color :P but a few cans of vinyl black spray paint and wala! Just need to get one more can for the rear window and door surrounds. A good buffing of the windows and they are practically brand new now. Had to order the front windshield mounts and rear tailgate pieces from Bestop and found out they changed designs on this top to a different front bar setup so the front windshield parts I ordered were obsolete, called bestop and they are sending me new bows for the top to work with the hardware, for FREE! Can't beat that! It is a good bit louder than the HT but I can live with it! {toast}

Are you going to paint the inside too or just leave it tan? I kinda like the tan on the inside.
