Must be a southern thing?
« on: July 29, 2009, 02:24:07 PM »
If some one is LOOKING at your jeep, and they ask you what model it is?

I was thinking the model would be Wrangler or maby even TJ but unless they were blind they should know that before asking the question.

And is it a straight shift?

I was thinking yes its a auto I pull it down out of park STRAIGHT down to drive. Not left then up and right then down exc..

I have gotten these questions not just once but 4 times so far. Will some one explain your wacky questions?

Its also good to hear. Ooh bless your heart?

I feel great because there is a Bunch of people praying for me.

Heck ya, people from where my family is from (NJ) are mean all the freakin time. NJ is a dump though, maybe everybody is just pissed that the whole state smells like trash and they can't pump their own gas?

Thats my favorite. Either "you know how to do all that?" or "where did you learn to do all that?"

Youllalll crazy it took me a while the first time I was asked what model because I was at a dealership in n. georga looking at his jeeps, Some CJs TJs YJs and even a J10 on the lot for sale just north of that used all mostly diesel truck dealership, they have a nice selection of used 1 tons and 3/4 tons. Does any one know about them are they fair, trucks beat to hell, exc...? So he should have known it was a TJ. So I replied with a "what?" and he repeated just like before with more accent and a little lowder like I could not hear him with the same question. Puzzled I said 97 and he replied like I gave him the correct answer with do ya wna trad thatn? I said nope and drove off. It was not right why not ask what year is that jeep? Instead of what model? If you want to know somthing is it ok to ask a diffrent question hopeing you will get the answer you want? Or is that normal?  Like I stated I have been asked 4 times now. So I know now to say 97 and not wrangler, TJ, or even da its a jeep stupid. Just smile and travel on.
