ROD ENDS FOR CUSTOM STEERING
« on: August 07, 2009, 10:21:06 AM »
Self-lubricating, self-sealing Rod Ends use increased cross-sectional thickness for greater tensile strength, perfect for demanding Motorsports applications. When loaded, this unique design creates metal to metal contact for unsurpassed strength, yet when unloaded the TeflonŽ/KevlarŽ injected liner will not rattle or squeak like standard two or three piece rod ends. Jam nut included.

EXAMPLE OF STRENGTH:
Chrome Moly; Thread: 3/8" Shank & Hole: 3/8" x 3/8"; Load Capacity: 9,544lbs.  = 12.00 (SWAY BAR/MISC.)
Chrome Moly; Thread: 5/8" Shank & Hole: 5/8" x 5/8"; Load Capacity: 17,955lbs. = 22.00
Chrome Moly; Thread: 3/4" Shank & Hole: 3/4" x 1/2"; Load Capacity: 40,572lbs. = 24.00
Chrome Moly; Thread: 3/4" Shank & Hole: 3/4" x 3/4"; Load Capacity: 20,081lbs. = 24.00

If it's the same Rock Krawler HD Tie Rod that I have, it uses the factory TRE's, and ALLSOUTH ad to order them from Jeep.

Drap -
It really depends on what track bar set up you are running. Let me know the specs and I will set you up with the right kind of ends for your rig.
you do not want to put them on horizontally - they have to be ran vertical (your track bar articulates up & down to far to run it horizontal)
Let me know!

The control arms holdes the axle front to back. The track bar keeps the axle under the jeep right to left. Unless you have trangulated control arms or leaf springs, the track bar is needed for keeping the axle centered under the jeep.

When I Bought my GC it came with a 4.5" lift not installed with a adjustable track bar that was missing the screwed end. I dont have it right now it is in the storage unit, so I cant give you the thread size but I will try to go up there and get it. I will let you know when I get it.
