7 gonna be worth it?

Everyone I've talked to has said it is more than worth it, especially since all need is a university e-mail to get the home edition for $30.

7 gonna be worth it?

I've been using 7 for a few months, its worlds ahead of Vista. My laptop on 7 runs faster than my sisters on Vista and she has twice the ram and twice the processor.

My manager and one of my coworker just started running it last week, and they can't stop singing 7's praises.

He (the manager) is in charge of the company's website, so he's on his laptop all the time. If you ask him about it, he can give you a laundry list of things that he likes better than Vista (or XP) just off the top of his, and he's had it for less than a week.

I plan on upgrading soon myself.

Just got home from a hott date!

I got vista, and the only thing I've found different that I really like about it is the "snipping tool".

Other than that, it sucks.  I'll be happy to uprade to 7 in a few months.

Or even better yet, have a coolant line come off the motherboard and dump a half gallon of 'non-conductive' water on the motherboard and hard drives?

How does it work exactly?  Like, will upgrading to 7 that way completely wipe my computer clean?
