Here's the plan if it's ok with everyone.
If you take 76 east out of hiawassee, follow it until you get to where 76 crosses lake burton( burton bridge), on the west side of the lake before crossing bridge, there is a pull off/ picnic area on the right directly across from vickers rd. This will be our meeting location at 10 a.m.
From there we will go to persimmon rd and go through an unmapped rd called abe gap( the one on the map that I drew a straight line on), off of patterson gap, to coleman river rd. We will come out of coleman and head up tallulah river rd and cross the river. This will be hightower. We will follow it through to the hiawassee end and come out on highway 76.
If anyone wants to add another trail to ride on the hiawasse end, then feel free to post directions from upper hightower rd, towns county ga. This ride that I have posted will take about 3-4 hours. Here's the map link.
