Yacht Delivery Crew Positions Available Immediately for trip from Portsmouth Rhode Island to Fort Myers, Florida.
Trip is scheduled to depart November 15 from Portsmouth. Route is near coastal and intracoastal. Depending on weather, voyage may be from 7 to 10 days.
This is an unpaid crew position for individuals seeking offshore experience, additional sea time for captains license, and general learning experience. If prone to seasickness, please do not reply, as the vessel cannot stop or turn back once underway. Proper warm weather gear and foul weather gear is necessary for conditions that may be below freezing and wet, for the initial leg of the trip out of Portsmouth.
Partial trip is a possibility, as the vessel will be putting in possibly at Cape May, Virginia Beach, Outer Banks, Beaufort, Fernandina, Port St. Lucie.
Offshore Skills that will be practiced are: Log Book Entries, Chart Plotting and Offshore Navigation,
