overturned dump trailer
« on: February 04, 2010, 11:26:10 PM »
So I'm bored. Thought you guys might get a kick outta this. Its A frameless dump trailer full of shredded tires. The driver  took a corner too fast and ripped out the fifth wheel pin and flopped over in the entrance to a truck stop in Newnan. I'm the guy running the truck on the left that you can't see very well. Enjoy...  ;D

Not sure I would be that close to that trailer while in the air. :o
I've grown tired of this.

well you gotta remember that those are two 50 ton wreckers working this thing using 1/2" grade 80 chains and continuous loop straps that have an ultimate load rating of 250,000 pounds. That sucka wasn't going anywhere!  :)

I have to point out the traffic that is passing yall. Nothing get's me more than some dumb ass that cant tell that maybe now aint the time to come around a job site. Well I know that they may have had no choice but I have been digging a 5 foot deep trench acrose a road before with the road closed and some woman went as far as to get out of the van she was in and move are cones to come up the road!

I know what you mean... some people think they are special, or maybe its just basic common sense just doesn't apply to them. I've had the same thing happen. One lady almost ran into my wire rope stretched across the road as I was winching a loaded roll off dumpster truck out of the ditch. It's a 3/4" line that was about chest high and would have taken her head off if I didn't catch her in time. Crazy woman had moved the cones out of the road!  {;-(}   {whack3}

Some of the things they do on that show make no sense. I think its because its a TV show, but they argue way too much. After doing this a while, you know what works and what doesn't. The biggest pain can be rigging everything and getting your truck in the exact spot it needs to be. It never hurts to look into Wreckmaster either.
