I can never get a straight answer...is the ram MC upgrade a direct bolt up or do you have to modify it and/or the stock booster?

I changed the push rod screw and bolted a 2500 mc right on my tj.

cool. my brakes SUCK with the 36s. I'm hoping this will help. I keep my rear drums adjusted and have performance friction pads on the front which are supposed to be almost as good a the ebc pads at a fraction of the cost. hate to hijack but if anyone has any other budget-friendly tj brake tips let me know.

larry, did you do yours the same way in as in the thread billy posted?

Not entirely low budget, but you can swap on WJ knuckles and getter better brakes (larger rotors and 2-piston calipers) as well as get higher steering. You can get true high steer if you get a RHD driver side knuckle.

I used to autocross/roadrace and the performance friction pads don't hold a candle to ebc pads or panther carbotech pads. Nothing like running into a turn at 120+ and finding out your pf pads are fading away fast.

I put in a longer pushrod bolt and put the mc right on my tj with no other changes.

Kyle I dont think this will benefit you. Since you have stock calipers. There is no place for the extra fluid to go.
