OMG! what are we gonna do? Someone needs to come up with a plan quick or its gonna be chaos!

Thank you Andy for stepping up!   :D :D

If you want to, you could give out maps at the waffle house, and divide everybody up with a plan not to meet head on.   {no}  Only  way I know how to do that at Beasley is a delay between the groups on the same route.

Group 1 heads straight to 93B and Group 2 and 3 head for the 93C and 93D loop.  Same route.

I know the Allsouth boys can lead the 93B group.  And they all want revenge!

Sounds like you know the trails pretty good Doug, why don't you come up and show us around? Really, I don't know the trails over there or I would help out, I have only been there one time. Surely someone going has been there a few times and knows the trails! Hint, Hint!

I hit beasley today and sheared the bolts off the rear yoke on 93D. I had to climb the hills backwards and descend them forwards to get back out.

Have they done any maintenance on the trails? How does 93b look?

MAN! Is Beasley that rough?  If it is that bad, we'll have to duck out of this one, I can't tear up my ride to work!

NO, it's not.  Most of the trails are easily done in a stock jeep.... unless it rains.   jeepj027 says he drove out on 1 axle.  As we said earlier, don't go if it has rained in the last few days.  They close it most of the time that it rains to protect the trails... and you.

If you find a slick hill, and you want to spin the tires at high rpm's, you can, but you might break something.  Take it slow and easy.  No need to do so with a group.  Someone can tug you/winch you if needed.

Looks like DRY weather now through the ride, so it should be as good as it gets for stock Jeeps.

I not too far from where you are, so if I go, we could meet up & caravan to the other meeting spot.

Waffle House on Holcomb Bridge & GA 400 (the one on the west side of 400) at 7AM sound good?

Sorry, I'm out. I've got walk for wishes that saturday.

Looking forward to this ride (my first).  I have a couple of questions to help prepare:
1.  Should I take the doors off my Jeep?  I want too but worried I will leave with the trail in my Jeep (new DD).
2.  How long do we think we will be on the trail?  I realize a lot of folks will be there but in general how long is the day.
3.  Planning to bring a cooler (minus the beer) once I figure-out how to secure it.  Anything else basic I'll need?

I of course plan to bring everything on the GA Trail Riders Required Gear list.

1. That's your preference.  My first or second trip I left my doors on and I now have a nice long scratch the length of my driver's side door.  Unless you're in some hardcore mud the inside won't get that bad, dirt mostly ends up on the door surround/b-pillar.

2. Usually we're out there until 5-6 give or take a bit.

3. Sounds good for a day trip! Make sure you have more than an 1/8 tank of gas {whack3} I always forget and stress out about it all day with the Jeep riding E.
