NOT Jeep Beach!!!!

We didn't make Jeep Beach so we played on some FS roads near Amicalola

Are these the same trails that were the V ditches on the backside? We rode them back in 2000-2001, then the trail got smoothed over and became just a dirt road. There was an old church on top of the mountain?

We've only been up there three times and we haven't seen a church yet...there are a few trails that we haven't seen yet.

you might be thinking of the anderson creek trails that got closed due to "erosion". Now there are just a few roads left up there that you would want to use 4x4 on.

If you go from Amicalola towards Nimblewell Gap there is a left turn (with a sign) that leads to the church.  They apparently have a service there one Sunday a month.  The AT approach trail also cuts through the church property.

HA HA HA!!! No, she walked a little ways and then decided to take it easy for a bit!  Actually, it usually goes something like "Stop right here and let me out, I want to walk ahead and get some video!"  She loves that video camera!
