what I'm curious about is how he did the trans tunnel... also the range selector on the trans is air powered like my big wrecker. I go through the first 5 gears, flip the selector switch, then go back through the next set of 5 gears... maybe he has onboard air or something. very nice though.  needs a jake brake too, lol.

the med/heavy duty 5.9 cummins had an air compressor on them. a select few run them on the light duty trucks b/c it is a pita to get them to fit in the frame rails. his engine/tranny came from a fl70 so he probably already had the air compressor on it. exhaust brakes sound awesome and are awesome but excessive on a light duty tow pig. (I want one). ;D

you're probably right. I had forgotten about the built in compressor. Basically the same way my wrecker is done. I'm running a C-15 CAT rated at 550 hp (stock) and the compressor for the air brakes is built in the side of the engine, driven by an internal gear system. I wish I could get the same size exhaust as he has, lol. They are insanely expensive for a big truck ($3k+) but there is something about that sweet diesel sound when you crack open the jake coming down a hill weighing 130,000 pounds. Especially with 8" exhaust.....  ;D
