October is iffy and cool.  November is snow everywhere.

I wouldn't try a wheelin trip to Moab from October through mid-March due to iffy-ness and cold. Just my .02.

I've been to Moab over Thanksgiving and had a blast.  The last day we were there we got a few inches of snow though.

That's cool if you are going to be there for family, but I wouldn't drive out for wheeling that time of year.  I bet it can be a lot of fun when the snow starts falling....

Are you still doing a Rocky Mtn trip in July?
