NNNNOOOOOOOO!!  :'(

Is anyone down to make this our January ride!!??

Mountainside is sad to announce that the January Jam,Jan. 7th and 8th, will be the finale ride for Mountainside. Due to insurance rates going up so high and regulations and guidlines they have set forth we are not going to be able to keep the gates open!! We want to thank... EVERYONE that has come out and help support the park over the years. A very special thanks to the Black Creek Fire Dept. for being out there to help at all our events and rides!! Great group of people that volunteer their time to be there for the community!!! Please come out for our finale ride and lets make the last a blast!!!! Bring some fire wood and we will have a fire and have a good time!!!! Thanks again to EVERYONE!!! We will be cooking Saturday. Plan to join us and make this final ride one to remember

That is REALLY bad news.  Best natural rock I've seen anywhere in the Southeast except Tellico.

I wish the county would buy it and operate it like some other local governments have, Harlan KY, etc.

This is a joke right? Seriously? Man, what is the point in owning a rig if you have no where to ride anymore. Mountainside was #2 in my book next to Tellico. What a loss for us! I say we hit it

Wow, that really stinks.  I was looking forward to riding that place for years to come, as I built up my rig.  I'm not sure I can make the ride next month, though, so I'm bummed even more.

Another one bites the dust. *plays taps*

It may help if they raised their prices a little. I'm sure people wouldn't mind paying more for such a good park!!

Compare there cost to Durhamtown. This is really bumming me out. I would pay $40 a day to ride that place.

One of the closer places I planned to run on my new setup.  Looks like it will have to be moved open on the priority scale.
