There will be lots of hanging out at night and drinking. I am on vacation so late nights and lots of beer. We never really got started super early last year and still spent lots of time on the trail.

Jay, you could do it last minute if there was still a cabin with a spot left.  It's a 5 hour drive from you.  You can google map directions, just search on Evarts, Ky.  Pack some clothes, some money and make sure your rig is ready to make the trip...and go.  You can stop on the way to get groceries and beer....

I can throw my SWR meter in the bag if you'd like. You have an extra length of cable? Not sure if I do or not. Makes tuning easier.

I got the cable and a SWR and I will bring both. Mine is just an old one from Fry's for like $10.
