Gray Rock CLOSING
« on: July 17, 2012, 08:04:44 PM »
GrayRock will be closing for open/public events after the Fall For All Ride in October.

This is due to an unrealistic increase in insurance premiums.  He said the park will be available for rent for private events, as he can insure those.

that is my point. Soon we will have nothing left close to us. Just tired of all this crap. Tellico set the bar and now everyone else is falling out.

I guess I should get an adventure trailer and all terrains and explore the mountains... No need for a tow pig at this rate!

I am good with renting it out and having private rides. Better than it being closed for good.

Curious how much private events will be if he has to insure each one?

I agree. Plus there are plenty of parks left.

They require a $200 deposit. And pretty much a $750 minimum. $75 per
vehicle or more if less than 10 vehicles. That covers porta john rental
and Thursday - Saturday ride time. Has to be booked in advance.
