You should give that a read in your owners manual so you'll have a full understanding of when it works, what it does, and what the light means.  Mine is on all the time as I have tractio control turned off.  It will brake a rear wheel in a hard turn in the mountains at cause it thinks I'm sliding and I would never be able to keep up with some of these guys lol.

Did you watch them do the locker?  Not to hard huh?

I've never received a winch that was spooled from the factory, so you'll probably need to tension it and spool it.

yea it was hard.  they had to take the whole axels out, wheels off, brakes etc..   then he had to put it together and place these tiny springs in..  geeshhhh   glad i did not try this on my own.

Mere mortals did it, just a series of dis-assembly and assembly, and you can learn to do it too. However, sometimes I find it is cheaper to pay someone to do it than buy everything required to do it.

Front is locked now and you will notice a HUGE, GIGANTIC difference.

Where is the winch?

You know about lockers right?  Now you just get stuck later in the trail. Haha. Seriously, you'll love it. I'm only locked in the front now too.

ok, i would like one of your more skilled guys to check out how i weaved the power up to the battery to make sure its ok, and out of the way.  but everything else was
fairly easy, very tight getting to front bolts and the ground is Under the motor, very hard to deal with, but i managed.  the sliders where cake.    power tools would help
but.  thats another battle im not ready to have with the wife.  lol

now just have to pack and grab food and beer for this weekend.   {popcorn} </BEER/>

Nice job!  Personal satisfaction!

Just make sure thr wire doesn't rub over or contact any sharp edges when you're bouncing all over the trail.

Came spooled!  I forgot that kind does.

Wheel, and re-tighten everything.

Any thought of putting a radius edge on the fenders where they approach the sliders?
