going camping at vogal this weekend up north GA.  maybe look for some light trails.   hope the weather holds.

You might enjoy driving Helton Creek Rd, which is quite near to Vogel.  Visit Helton Creek Falls, one of the prettiest waterfalls I know.

I took Kirk's advice and Helton Creek Falls was quite nice, and also Desoto Falls is nearby, all on our trip to Vogel.  You may enjoy eating at Turner's Corner as well, at intersection of 9 and 19 going or coming to Vogel.

I went to Caffeine and Octane this morning and saw some amazing vehicles, that show never ceases to amaze me. I saw JD30005's jk there, I am glad im not the only one that showed up topless and doorless. I saw more JKs there than I have seen in previous months. I parked next to a few guys with some expedition built Land Rover discoveries that were pretty cool.

Monthly I think off of Windward Pkwy.  They have a website with a lot of photos.  Everything you can imagine.

Yes it is the first Sunday of every month. It's off windward parkway (exit 11 on 400). There was a new McLaren MP4-12C there today and last month a Bugatti Veyron. 500-600 cars show up easy countless lambos, Ferraris, lots of classics. Anything and everything you could imagine. You can pull up youtube and search caffeine and octane and see what it's all about. My only complaint is that it's getting so big, people are starting to arrive earlier and earlier. I pulled in a 6:30 this morning and the main lot was almost full.

I live right off Windward Pkwy so I go there every so often. It's a great show and has grown tremendously since it began. My only problem with it is that it's hard for me to wake up that early on Sunday  //LMAO//

I only make it every few months bc it is so early. I have been going for about 5 years and its been at 6 different venues bc it has outgrown them so quick. It's almost too big for the new location now; it is starting to pour into the home depot parking lot now.

Dont forget to vote today!

in Gwinnett the only thing on my ballot is the 1% splot tax.

If you own a lot of property, vote for the tax.  Do recognize the tax will likely never go away.  if you rent or own a very little bit of property do not vote for the tax.  if they do not collect the tax money from this tax they will collect it through property tax.  those are my thoughts.

keep in mind one of the few positives of a sales tax....yes, you pay it when you buy in Gwinnett but so do all the other people that come into your county to buy stuff.

And if you don't buy a lot of stuff, it affects your personal economy less.

in Gwinnett, it is a renewel request, so yes...they tend to stick around.  However, both Cobb County and Gwinnett have both voted to end SPLOST's at one time or another.
