Going to Fulton County marching festival at Cambridge HS this afternoon to see Ga. State band perform after the HS bands are done.  Both daughters are in the GSU band.

Already took the RV to the trailer place to dump the shitter!

Remove some brush, cut some tree limbs, cut up some wood, cut the grass, and think about what an expansion to the house would entail.

I was looking for a new home, but that got old quick when I thought about moving, a bridge loan, realtor fees, and a longer commute.  Then I was in the basement and thinking about how I like 90% of my beer brewing area and how that would be expensive to redo at a new place...then the epiphany hit:  add a three car garage/workshop to the backside of my current house with one garage big enough for my truck and another with height for a lift...oh and redo the deck.  Urban development rules may kill this idea...investigation time.  Does anyone know someone who does this type of construction who is reputable, reliable, and quality oriented?  If so, PM me, please.

When I did mine the recession had just hit, and good people were dying for any job they could get.  Now a "small" job is less attractive to builders.  On my build I was the general contractor (pulled permits, etc.) and hired a guy as my superintendent.  He had done a lot of work for my neighbors and came recommended.

Forsyth county rules limited me to square footage based on my lot size and whether the addition was attached or detached.  Subdivision covenants applied other requirements.  Do all the research, and then when building don't cut corners or the inspections will be a PITA.

I put in radiant heating in the shop floor and AC.  Best decision of all.

So I've been looking for another truck and selling the suburban, and a neighbor popped up selling a 07.5 LMM Duramax, 1 owner, LT.  Sooo clean, 133k, almost perfect, never towed, except cracked dash that a lot of them have, can be replaced, no big deal, written elbow spot.  Test drive great, has a programmer, flies.  I decide I want it at a lesser price, and I make him an offer and he says full price or he is going to give it to his shop guy tomorrow.  Why waste the time? Probably should buy it anyway .. $19.

Nope, new body style, fabric with the console, no power reclines, basic radio.  Does have climate control which is a MUST for me.
