So I've been looking for another truck and selling the suburban, and a neighbor popped up selling a 07.5 LMM Duramax, 1 owner, LT.  Sooo clean, 133k, almost perfect, never towed, except cracked dash that a lot of them have, can be replaced, no big deal, written elbow spot.  Test drive great, has a programmer, flies.  I decide I want it at a lesser price, and I make him an offer and he says full price or he is going to give it to his shop guy tomorrow.  Why waste the time? Probably should buy it anyway .. $19.

Did you offer him less because you think it is worth less based on market research or out of principle (never pay the asking price)?
