I like GC BBQ and Swallow at the Hollow in my neck of the woods.  Anyone been to either?

GC = Golden Corral?

Swallow in the hollow is really good BBQ.  That and Williamson Bros are probably two of my local favorites though Pignchik, Fox bros, and Fat Matts all have their good items.
Swallow in the Hollow is awesome. Be there early or take out. Always packed.

Great spot

Let me know when you want to come out. Close to me and Jay. We'll meet you there and Jay will pick up the tab.

I've saw Tony Arata there many years ago. He wrote The Dance that Garth Brooks recorded and made so popular. Very cool

I'm down, but poor man in the group should not be picking up the tab.

Doug and Tony are picking it up.  I'll probably even get to-go plates for the family!

SC is under water with 2' of rain in 48 hours.  Tough times for a lot of folks

For BBQ, anyone been to Heirloom Market on Powers Ferry?  I love that place.  The only bummer is they don't have any place to sit.  Just stand outside and eat or take it with you.

That does suck.  Are they supposed to get any more rain or is it done?  I do always wonder how people get stranded in their cars.  Is it that the water comes up on them or are they trying to drive through it and it's deeper than they realized?  Or a little of both?
