Day of a life time for the girls.

Porpoises, whales, a huge mantaray, 12 sails, and a 150# Tuna that whipped us all.

And man can this huge boat get it.  3000 hp+'

Super cool!

Very nice, Doug.  Unfortunately I'm the T-money in my family...and there ain't no competing with that.

Does she want teenagers? We can help!

I'm thinking fuel is so low you have to go and sleep in the garage.

I think a week with teenagers would make Katie question having another kid for sure.

Fuel prices make it a perfect time for a long distance trip like Moab.

Anyone know how to pitch  "I'm going to take a vacation for a week plus while you stay here pregnant and take care of a toddler."

I just finished a week in NH of "family time".  My teenagers with my teenage nephews for the week plus the grandparents...I'm ready for a real vacation.  Not to be - back to work today.

That's a hell of a pitch, but if you slightly modify it to, "Look honey, I told you when we got together that I'm the boss and I do what I want to do - when I want to do it.   I'll be gone for a week plus, maybe longer.  Call your mom to come comfort you while I'm away.  I'll get both of you a T shirt.", you'll be just fine.

The key is to remind her of prior agreements, and continually deliver on those agreements.

I'm digging the "slightly" modified version. Should work well.
