Formula Offroad:  two summers ago I attended a Formula Offroad meet in Iceland.  Climbs are on lava ash, so rolling down isn't as dramatic as on rocks.  Most of these rigs have nitrous injection and 700+ HP.  Tires have scoops in the tread.

This is popular in Nordic countries and Iceland primarily.

Why do they put cheap PA systems on multi-million dollar planes?

Most ppl dont listen to it anyway, they look at the lights for the bathroom/seat belt.  keep head phones on.. its become mundane .   i think it was southwest that i was fumbling with my headphones and the stew's actually had a funny way of presenting the safety announcement it was very entertaining, but thats rare. 

just my guess.. as to why they dont invest in a better PA system.

I've given Delta negative feedback the last 2 times I've flown.  I complained about fat/obese flight attendants that asses are too big for the aisle and keep slamming into my shoulder when they pass.
