Delta does this sort of thing frequently, but not as much as in the old days when it was a different airline. Our dad retired from Delta after about 40 years of service. I've been flying delta since before I was born.

Setting here at the ritz Carlton at Russle plantation waiting on breakfast and the last day of meetings.  Had a great 2 days of golf lots of free drinks. Nice way to begin a week. Lol.
