So I just signed up to do this day and a half pistol training course with 3 guys I work with (one a former Navy Seal). I've never done anything like this and look forward to checking it out. The guys that teach it are bad asses and run executive security teams as well. Check it out. http://executiveoperationsgroup.com/pistol-training/

I look forward to learning a few things.

Check it out. http://executiveoperationsgroup.com/pistol-training/John, looks interesting. I've asked a couple folks I know who are plugged into the firearms training community about them and waiting to hear back. I did a lot of firearm, force, protection training for a couple years ~'06-'08 timeframe when I was looking at overseas contract work. My brother was doing protection work for the UN making big money and trying to get me over there. I also had a pistol pulled on me while bouncing at a bar and kinda went overboard training for a while after that. Anyway, I still have friends there and with training it's all about the quality of it and who the trainer is. These guys sound awesome but just checking. The only other feedback I'll say is it's above market rate though I noticed they provide the pistol which could be a positive.Examples:Larry Vickers: http://www.vickerstactical.com/2017-class-schedule.html (Larry is f'n awesome. Loved his classes and I really want to take his 1911 gunsmithing class but I don't think he's doing it this year due to time)Chris Costa: http://costaludus.com/index.php?route=training/scheduleDefensive Concepts NC: http://defensiveconceptsnc.com/course-schedule/Tactial Response: https://tacticalresponse.com/pages/schedule (Yeager is out there and causes all kinds of drama but he puts on a good class)Suarez: https://suarezinternational.com/training-schedule/ There are others out there, I've heard of a couple in GA, but just listing a few to give you an example of the market.I've been a big Vickers fan for a long time and one awesome thing in Larry's classes is he usually brings something cool to shoot. I got to shoot this exact gun - Larry's personal Sturmgewer 44 full auto. Brass is expensive since it's not a common caliber anymore but he let each of us keep one. />
