Tile is time consuming as all get out.

And not really for someone who remembers every defect introduced through inadequate workmanship.  I've done it a few times and swore after the last to never do again.  And, the last time was the best I ever did.  I'd rather blame someone else for the defects.  And, there are always defects.
True. Especially when the dogs drag a dish off the stove and crashes on the tile and cracks the tile, thus reminding you of the extensive work in the future to replace that 1 tile without messing up the rest.

Wife in Costa Rica again, 3rd time this year, on a private Hawker jet this trip, laying in the sun, getting massage's.   I'm happy for her and encouraged her to go, but damn where did i go wrong lol.  i may have to do Moab, CO, and the Rubicon Trail this year.

On carpet, apples to apples, it pays to buy rolls in Dalton, haul it, pay an installer.
$13 vs $30 a yard.
$3900 vs $9000.

My friend Dan Dean has a crew of guys. Dan is your basic dirty old man....I used to tell him he was my black uncle, real good guy, retired IBM Exec who need something to do.

Dan Dean 678-361-7919 tell him Jimbo sent you.

He also has remnants from other jobs if you have a small room that need to get done. He travels so leave a message if he doesn't answer.

And had to make a stop in dalton and buy 400 yards of carpet ugh

Any carpet experts here?
What a fun experience, almost as good as trying to compare mattresses.
I've installed it once...and I don't think I'll ever do it again.  Not hard, but not fun

No kidding, same goes for hard wood flooring. There are a few things I've found that it's better for me to pay someone to to do it.

Same goes for roofing. After the last time I laid 3 squares. I said I'd pay for the roof next time. Far easier to stroke the check.

Actually i sold him a set of 2500 tires on Craigslist for his van off my 2006 Duramax 5 years ago. He's done multiple jobs for me. He does installs for Home Depot and Lowe's too.

Atlanta's best snows are in March, but the dogwoods are blooming already.
