Not a good morning.  I got home from the gym at 6:15 this morning and parked in the driveway behind my wife's side of the garage.  Forgot she was leaving at 6:30 to take the dog to the vet.  See where this is going?  Yes, she back right into the steel bumper on my JK.  2011 Grand Cherokee now needs a rear bumper plus paint.  I saw a dent in the tailgate as well that will need to be fixed.  Not sure if that can be PDR but not holding my breath.  $%Q#$^%

Damn Mike...didn't you have a similar thing last year?

Yes, backed my Jeep into the Harley that fell over on the Mercedes.  That cost me $1000.

Her WK2 is 6.5 years old now and has 80k miles on it.  It is still in excellent condition mainly because I'm so OCD about my vehicles.  I'll pay out of pocket to get it fixed.  Probably won't take it to Performance Auto Collision who I've used for "her mishaps" in the past because they are high dollar.  I'll get some estimates from a few other places as it should be a pretty straight forward fix.  If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know.  She plans to keep the WK2 a few more years.

PDR may fix the hatch, but the paint is busted, so it may peel later on.

Works out best for you in the short and long run.

Hate it happened, sucks!  But have a cold one, apologize, and move forward.  Its only  money.
