I am thinking due to spring break and all, this is not a true test of how traffic will be. what i noticed friday, .. I leave and come down North Druid Hills cross 85 .. out to 78 and then home. Druid hills was backed up at 3. normally its not till 4, i have a sneaky way to cross 85 and get back on druid hills, so i did that with no issue. after that it was normal. but when i was on 78, the in bound traffic getting on 285(outer loop) was really backed up,..?
My commute is not really affected, i think it will only be coming home , cause i go in to work at 4:30 and seeing how maybe only kevin is up then, its light... going home, i will prob. use my other route to get over 85 and back on druid hills to 78.
about 1/3 of our office folks are south of the airport and now use 285 instead of coming thru town, so they are going to add time to their commute. most of the others are live up 75 and 400, so they are looking at ways around , the back streets from where they are making folks exit is going to really get cluttered, as Atlanta drivers seem to enjoy blocking intersections and texting while driving.
I am hoping to see our company offer some more extended work from home days.
