With RL work issues, im only able to commit to a few upcoming rides.

For sure I have scheduled....
MAY : 19th – 21st  MORRIS MTN ,
AUGUST : 18th – 20th GOLDEN MTN GATR-FEST ,
OCTOBER : 5th – 8th HARLAN

Possible, depends if things with family/work work out..
SEPTEMBER : 15 - 17th  GULCHES ,
NOVEMBER : 3rd – 5th ADVENTURE OFFROAD PARK ,
DECEMBER : 8th – 9th BLACK MOOSE GATR-CLAUS

Thinking I'm in that same boat, little concerned about golden mountain, Harlan, without lockers. Hoping to do a lunchbox locker before then if money/scheduling works out before then. Any thoughts welcome......

Auto locker in the front makes a big difference.   Pretty cheap and easy install too
Do it!

RL always gets in the way...I'm missing the Cove ride because of a previous engagement. And I will probably miss Golden due to a friend being in the States...27 years is a long time, pretty sure missing this ride will be worth it...
and Gulches and I have a love hate relationship right now.

@Chris36l  drive that rig with out lockers until you can afford to do it right. It'll make you a better driver when you do get lockers. Finesse is an often overlooked characteristic, but learning to pick a line does not simply happen, you have to learn it.

Finesse--(1. extreme delicacy or subtlety in action, performance, skill, discrimination, taste, etc. 2. skill in handling a difficult or highly sensitive situation; adroit and artful management: exceptional diplomatic finesse. 3. a trick, artifice, or stratagem.)

@Chris36l I kinda disagree with Jimbo.
Yes learn to drive and get experience, but
it was so worth the money for the lunchbox
locker in the front.

The amount fun I had with it tripled. I also
sold it afterward and it's still being used
by someone today!!

This was more along the lines of my thoughts. $250 seems a small price to pay now for a few years of added fun. Really trying to plan out my long term build and it's seeming like just a front axle upgrade to dana44.( still 4-6years down the road)

Both parks have easyer trails, and bypass's, Golden is the Club yearly event (dont miss) raffles and food, worth it if u can make it.    I try and make sure i can make 3 rides if at all possible.   Crawling for Reid, and the Club GARfest those are great, Harlen.. just because i have been and just love the whole event, from the trials, to cabins, to moonshine...food.. err i mean fellowship with my club buddies.  ;)

Unless I can find a floor to sleep on, Harlan will probably be a camping trip for me. (Trying to save as much money as possible for jeep parts and a possible second child in the next 1-2 years)

I went with a lunchbox upfront as one of my 1st upgrades, wheeled it for 9mo before i made my nxt major change.  a front lunch box locker can add a ton more fun and years to wheeling.   its def. worth the cost imo.    check with @Allsouth Autosports   im sure they could hook u up.

I wheeled for years without any lockers and had a blast. Limited yes, but it makes you think out of the box and pick different lines that others may not even consider. Get familiar with your jeep and how it works. Adding lockers does NOTHING to improve your ability to read terrain and judge lines. Lockers are awesome but without the driver skill behind them they serve no use. Harlan is doable without lockers. Ryan S went one year in his 2 door JK and did every trail with no issues on 33s. I was amazed but then again, he is a great driver. Things to ponder  //:o//
I've grown tired of this.

I'm sure a lunchbox will increase the fun factor and all that. I'm just of the viewpoint of do it right the 1st time instead of their being a 2nd or 3rd time...symantics...to each there own.

In other news--
I saw some BAD Ass looking SWAT vehicles on the Downtown connector on the way into work. 8 Wheels and battering rams!! Bigger than Ambulances.
