Thanks guys, she is our best girl lol. One of the kids.  And the one that is always happy to see me!

The operation is different Tripp.  They cut the lower bone twist the head and reattach it so it improves the joint design over the natural one and the crucial ligament is no longer needed.  Months to full recovery.
I figured so.

Neat what they do.

4 years ago we had a major surgery on our oldest dog, Jessie. She had a cancerous tumor on the inside of her rib cage. Blue Pearl in Dunwoody did the procedure and they had to remove 3 of her ribs on one side. I was amazed at how she bounced back. 4 yrs later she is cancer free and you'd never know she had the procedure. Amazing how resilient they are.

Sending good vibes your way.

Well it was worse than we all thought.  Some dogs have cronic failure but this was an impact ripped it apart traumatic incident.  Damaged other stuff and required a 2nd separate procedure after the TPLO of adding an implant to the opposite side of the plate to reinforce the joint.  We'll pick her up tomorrow afternoon hopefully. .

That's tough, man hang in there. Roxy has been on anti inflammatories for 2 weeks and her recovery has been slow because of the tendinitis.

Which joint was it on your dog.
