If that is true, it is very sad. No seat belt is just asinine.

I was real proud to see a bunch of us with helmets on during the tough stuff at hale Saturday.

I grimmace thinking about how badly I'd expect any of you to lay-into me if I wasn't wearing a belt.  I can't back my Jeeps 3' out of garage without habitually buckling
(who are these folks with that no one in their vicinity says, " Hey, idiots; harness-up!" )

not to mention, aren't these SxS's all setup with harnesses that are uncomfortable to NOT buckle up in? I find those 5point/ 4 point buckles uncomfortable up my ass crack or jabbin my back in Rzrs I have been in.

Should we consider helmets being a required piece of equipment?? Safety is safety no matter how hard the trail! Just throwing this out there..

whats sad are the comments in the article stating they were drinking, which there is no proof of, they are really trying to stir some shit there.

we do like to have a good time, but safety and paying attention is at the top of this groups list for sure. i have no problem harnessing up or wearing that stupid looking helmet, its much better than the alternative.

"Required" is a strong word, but they definitely belong in the vehicle. Only takes 1 time for something bad to happen. At Rausch I think everyone had a helmet and most if not all of us ended up wearing them at some point.
