What a gorgous weekend
« on: September 23, 2012, 09:28:55 PM »
Hope everyone had a great one.  We didn't want to leave the lake and come home.  Nicest days of the year.

We grilled, watched football, shot some pool, and pulled the kids and their friends and cousins.

I played some tennis, schooled a few 26 year olds in "its not about how hard you can hit the ball, its about who wins the point", had some beer, ran 6 miles with the dog, hacked my fenders off (pics this afternoon) and  cursed my hood torx t-50 bolts that i cant get off to mount my hi jack hood mount..  and just got excited about getting my rig to Allsouth for some loven.

I did the same thing worked on Casper (jeep) all weekend. I started with replacing the rear main and Well it must have riped it leaks more now. So I took the oil pan back off. Yup riped it. Tonight I can put another main seal in. I guess I'll have to make a shoehorn to put it in with. I'm thinking about rebuilding the 304 but not sure.It seems the 304 is not Worth it. I'm better off replacing it with a Chevy 350. From what I have read there just not that strong (304)..Maybe after GULCHES. I want to get my tires,lockers, gears in before Gulches.

I spent Saturday afternoon (and $75) just to go to the GA Dome to see Ga State get whipped by Richmond.  The only reason to go was to see the GSU marching band, which played before the game and at halftime.  Our daughter's in the band.   :hlp

Spent Thursday afternoon till Sunday evening dealing with a failure of a yard sale. Total waste of time and energy. At least I was outside but still not the same as being outside doing what you want to do. Gulches better be just like this in 2 weeks!!!
I've grown tired of this.

Spent Friday night at he fair with some good friends and the kiddos.

Saturday we went to the mountains with three other couples. Grilled steaks, watched football, drank A LOT (to much), and just hung out in the hot tub over looking the river!!

Beer, steak, football, & hot chicks {bruce}
