I really like the MC stuff. Their flares are sharp and you don't see them as much as the PS stuff.

I would give some serious consideration to a frame welded rock slider over a tub mount. Long term I think it is the best solution and offers a high level of protection. Especially in a 4 door. I forget if yours is 2 or 4

I could say the cage is off by a lot. Front drive shaft that much?

Poison Spyder 2 door cage is right at 900. Probably could get it for that shipped. He doesn't have paint in there but that doesn't have to be expensive. This cage is DIY.

Sounds like he has the right number.

If PS fixes their windshield issue I think it would be a great bolt in cage option.

Agree on the windshield issue.  I've read about it extensively.

Although I'm thinking VKS weld-on sliders as well.

I don't know if I would personally trust those in an extreme roll that rolls several times down a hill. You don't have to be on a crazy hill. Something simple can cause it. That's why I mentioned it seemed low. For how heavy a jk I wouldn't want less than 2" dom. I don't know what they do there's in.

Most all of the companies use 1.75" DOM tubing.  Probably have to have one custom built to get 2" or use the GenRight kit.  But GenRight doesn't make a cage for real (2D) Jeeps.   //SLAMIN//
