No, He's buying himself one now that mine meets the GATR Required Trail Riding Gear, and we're going to fix his up to be Trail Ready that way he can wheel too.
Now, on to my opinion.
The people there are actually nice people and they know what they're talking about, at least I think so. It's just they're pretty over priced and they can cut you if you aren't careful.
When we pulled up they liked my Jeep and told me hey, you don't have to show us your liscense, insurance, nothing. Just get in a Jeep and go where ever you want(they leave the keys in the Jeeps). That was a nice touch of respect, as everyone else there that I saw and overheard, they were requiring them to do the normal stealership routine to test drive their Jeeps.
We drove an LJ on 35's, stock LJ, stock JKU Rubicon, stock JK X, and a stock TJ Rubicon.
All I've got to say is wow! Didn't like the four door so well, but I loved the two door JK. If I could find a way to fit JK seats in my TJ, I'd be in heaven. Only thing I didn't like about the two door JK is the 6 speed(If I could buy one, I'd get used to it real quick), you can't really hear the engine so it's hard to tell how much gas you're giving it, and the windshield header channel. Oh yea, I hate how they put the power window switches on the the center of the dash, so I'd be sure to get regular windows that you turn the handle to go down, that or half doors.
I loved the feel of the LJ on 35's, not so much the stock LJ.
Amanzingly, I only saw one TJ with a 3 inch BL, everything else was either stock or all SL.
And then of course before we left I had to ask if I could drive my Jeep on their test track just to say I've done it. Actually was a nicely built track and would excite the heck out of someone looking into getting into Jeeps. When I asked the owner about it, he said "You know it already. As long as it's a Jeep, go have fun. No fords, shitty chevys, dodges, or imports.". I guess that was a nice lil ending that I had respect for.
So yea, when I get older and looking at buying a new Jeep, I'll definately be considering a restored stock CJ7 project, lifted LJ project, lifted JK 2 door project, or a lifted ZJ/WJ project.
