2013 4wheelin goals
« on: January 03, 2013, 04:43:48 PM »
Borrowing this from another board I like to visit.
What's everyone trying to accomplish this year? Let's get this all written down so we can at least look back and say "well he didn't have any goals, thats why he's sitting on the couch..."

Get all the rest of the parts for my LS swap.
Get my coilovers on my Jeep.
Wheel at least once every 3 weeks.
Make sure my Jeep is together for my trip to Moab in May.

Why not run a lunch box in the front to cut out a lot of cost?

Axles built (not exactly sure what route I want to take at this point)
Under body protection
First thing though, get the plastic beads out of the wheels and get some weights, also flip the tires.
Keep on wheeling it ;D

1. Get my axles locked and Rocked ready to roll over anything.

2. Swap my body lift with a real suspention

3. See more trees, rocks, and lakes ( trails )

4. Learn more about my jeep and its capabilities.

just to start off  {cheers2} {popcorn} {cheers2}

1.  Wheel it once a month
2.  Hit the big parks:  Moab/Harlan/Coal Creek/Adventure Off Road
3.  Keep my eyes and ears open to learn from others(what TO do and what NOT to do in certain situations)
4.  Be conspicuous with number 3 so my son will learn to do this as well
5.  Make time to help new members with their builds or goals
6.  Cage - ordered...hell yeah
7.  Hydro assist - under research now

edit:  8. figure out a way to get in the driver seat of Larry's newly LS'd rig!

Well I'm still waiting for my rims. When I put the order in they said 6 to 8 weeks that was on 11-18-2012 then it changed to 1-14-2012 now there telling me 2-27-2013. Maybe I will have them in time for Jeep fest! I should have just got spacers. So my goal is to get Casper back on the road this year. I still need to find a locker for the Dana 30 and gears. So it looks like its going to be a while

Install the following most of which I have already or is in the mail.
5.3, th350, atlas 4sp, links with heims, tie cage to frame, stretch wheel base, weld up trusses, wire rock lights, install and set up coil overs, have fun taking off bead locks to new bead locks, ctm's, brake lines, limit straps, radiator, and any other odds and ends to complete the jeep. Decide to change welded air and spooled front to air locker to have more control with the t case.

Wire the garage for 230v for the air compressor and welder.

Wheel about once a month.
