IMHO JKU's owned the park, at least in cru9's group!  Lots of available traction for us to get up on it.

Wait a minute... I call  //:bs//  wasn't I the caboose in Bobby's group walking up everything after everyone was getting stuck??

The wars move from CJ to YJ then YJ to TJ then TJ to LJ then TJ to JK now JK to JKU.... what will be next??

In any case, we all wheel what we wheel and have a blast doing it... well except for the guy that jumped into the middle of our ride with the black cherokee with the jumper cables running from the back seat.  //LMAO//

*GRAND CHEROKEE lol...

That thing was a major POS. The PVC snorkel and amp wire running outside the hood into the door were so clean. Definitely not cool jumping in our group,in the way, then not being able to get it to start... I did want his tires though.

The only thing "GRAND" about that was the size of turd it was!  //LMAO//

I will say, I saw him in the afternoon and he did have some seriously major flex on that thing. But it had no business being on the trails in that condition, no matter how much of a trail rig it is!

Did you get to see he made his little boy ride on the top
cause he jumped into a deep mud hole and was covered.

Just having fun guys.   //LMAO//  I am clearly aware of the capabilities of the really built TJ's that are riding in the club as well as Ryan and AJ's JKs.  Its not that we owned the TJ's, its just that we were all over the park.  Lots of newer guys in JKU's did well this trip, particularly because we had enough traction for our bigger rigs to ride well!   //popcorn//

Great weekend, really enjoyed the park, thanks to the Staff for putting this together and I thought the host at Gulches (forget his name) was really good as well. Once I cleared not flipping the Ram/Truck camper in the parking lot...lol...I was setup well with the hookups provided....LJ was truly broke-in on this run...great GATR Fest gents!  //salute//

Question: Can we get a pics thread going? I know there was a tremendous amount of photography going on, would love to download a few...

A bit late, but what an awesome weekend!! Great park too, especially for my first one. I'm excited for the next event and looking forward to TN, hoping I can go.

Also, a HUGE thank you goes out to everyone who helped me out. Being new to the club and to off-roading, every bit of advice, spotting, guiding, and recommendations were heard, and much very appreciated!! It's nice to be able to go away for a weekend and know that I won't be left behind, that I'll have a great time, and always be able to learn. Hopefully in time, I'll be able to help someone else. Again, thanks so much everyone!  //salute//

Great time guys, rides, raffle, and dinner were fun!  Thanks Jason, Tom and Mike for putting up with my kids at the camp.

Good to meet more new members! Will be posting my photos up later today.  First time going on some big obstacles, and all the spotters and group leaders were great.  Thanks Bobby, Ryan, Wes, and Richard for all the spots!

Congratulations to Jonathan for winning the New Member of the Year Award!!!!

Yes, congratulations Jonathon!! You definitely deserve it!  //SLAMIN//
