Getting it, never hurts to have options.  Now extra $ for a CB.

True!

Which CB are you considering?

This reminds me I need to pick up some valve
stems and one of those little tools also.......

Yep, I need valve stems too.  I bought the tool on Amazon...it was not cheap.

I have no idea what CB to get.  I actually have one, small Cobra, no ant or mic. I powered it up, and get lights and numbers on led screen. I might just  get a mic for now to get me by.  I need ant anyway. I saw Firestick  was recommended?

I have Firestick II antennas, one on the jeep and one on the truck, and have had good success with them (adjustable screw to tune).  I also have a temporary magnetic one that is pretty good (tuned by screwing some metal bands up and down) that I picked up at a truck stop a while back.  Some people recommend 'Lil Will, or something like that.

Installation quality of the antenna will have a major impact on your success.

I have Uniden Pro520xl CBs...they work for me.  YMMV

K40 Superflex if you are set on fiberglass. It can bend 180 degrees. I have had good luck with my firestick as well, although its mounted to low, which is why it hasnt broke yet.

Got the CB hooked up, found a Power Whip ant at a QT truck stop.  I hear conversations , but no one answered back.  I live in the sticks, not much traffic, ( about 10 minutes from the back entrance to Charlie's creek)

I don't have the equip to tune it, nor do I know how

Come to a GATR event, really a GATR ride, and someone will have the swr meter.  You should go read an article or two regarding how to tune a cb antenna.  I believe there is an article or two in the shop talk section of GATR forums.  If not, there are some really good websites.
