yea, the RK kits suck. i saw one on a ZJ in Moab. I felt safer with my drop brackets. i busted my frame on Golden Spike... that guy decided not to wheel with us that day. may have been a good choice.
i was going to measure the passenger side UCA mount on the front axle. I flexed both ways... and there was NOTICEABLE movement. I didnt even need to measure it. The demonstration right in front of me was evidence enough.

Like I said on the other board, looks good. Hopefully the IRO Long Arms for the ZJs will be as good as the WJ kit. Then when I can afford to hop up to 4.5", I will go with them. Otherwise, I'll just cut the fenders and run 33"s on a BB.

RE makes a great LA kit!!!
Are you still connected in this pic Neal? It looks like you should have a lot more ramp left to climb before stuffing.

Looks like the discos are still attached. I know my superflex stuffs more than that so I am sure he's connected.

yeah it's still connected. It went about half way up so you can imagine what it would do if disco'd. I was in a hurry when I picked it up and crawled around on the ground looking at everything before I took off when the mech (Paul, he's a good guy) came out and was hoping to run it up the ramp. so I obliged.

It does ride a lot better and the vibes I had are gone but now I have some new noises. It seems to groan now around 50-55 mph under load. I suspect it is still the front DS just vibrating at different speeds. The front pinion angle is on now but I think the angle at the TC end is worse because of the drop kit. I am going to take out the TC drop and reset the pinion angle to see what that does. The back DS has never been a problem and that's what the TC drop is there to help the most.
